Celebrating Crosfield's 70 Years! Part 1

On Friday 1st December a celebration was held to mark 70 years that Crosfield Nursery School has been operating from its current location on Elborough Road.

Earlier that morning, we had the pleasure of welcoming William Alexander Crosfield Harris and his wife Janet to the nursery. Will is a relative of Helen Crosfield, one of the founders of the school, and over a cup of tea, shared with us part of his extraordinary family history. 

We were delighted that after a tour of the school, Will wrote a message on what was to become the star on top of our Christmas tree, created by our community.

We look forward to welcoming both Will and Janet back to Crosfield in the near future!
