Crosfield Nursery School is currently open to all children and welcoming new families.

 

 

Food Banks and Food Parcels

What strange times we are experiencing! We know that some of you are experiencing changes to your day to day lives that are affecting your ability to access the food that you need for your family. There are a number of local community resources that can offer help and we have provided the information below for you:

 

Crosfield and Selhurst Community Cupboard in conjunction with Community Champions:

Have your circumstances recently changed?  We are here to help, we offer:

  • Non-perishable food item
  • Nappies
  • Formula (not all brands available)
  • Toiletries
  • Clothes – from birth to 4 years old

Our family support service can give help and advice on housing, debt, benefits, access to food banks, gas/electric (with our certified Fuel Debt Advice in the Community advisor), nursery and school applications, Healthy Start, controlling or abusive behaviour and more – call 0208 683 0180.

 

Norwood and Brixton Food Bank – Please call 020 8654 7566 to speak to a member of staff to see if you qualify for a voucher. If you are eligible, the food parcels can be delivered to your door within 3 working days.

 

The South Norwood Community Kitchen – serve a cooked three course meal on Saturdays between 12.00noon-2.00pm, depending on how much food they have available they can sometimes offer food parcels.

Food Cycle – serve a 3 course vegetarian meal on Fridays at 7pm.
